Click the pencil icon enter Draw mode! Use one finger to draw on the screen with the colour and brush thickness of your choice. While in Draw mode, you can use the arrow tool, undo/redo drawings, use the player toggle icon to show/hide the players, and tap the clear icon to clear the screen.
You can set your own player animations! For animations:
1) Click the + button to set an animation checkpoint
2) Move your players to their next desired position
3) Click the + button to set another animation checkpoint
4) Repeat steps 2 & 3, and when ready, click the Play button!
(Animation checkpoints can be removed by clicking the - button)
Settings also feature toggle options for active player enlargement, player name display, orientation lock and full or half court display.
In addition, there are 4 options for court colour (yellow, orange, white, and wood), and 4 options for the ball (white, multi-colour, FIVB, and off).
In the iPad version only, you can select Zoom mode! Use two fingers to zoom in or out, you can also pan across the screen using one finger when in Zoom mode. Additionally, you can double-tap while in Zoom mode to zoom in or out. Additionally, you can double-tap while in Zoom mode to zoom in or out.

Tried to save 6 rotations for serve and receive three times. It would load them and play them. Cool. When I shut down and restarted, only 1 serve rotation was stored. Tried 3 times. Annoying to say the least! I want to be able to save all 12 formations.
This app is great! I even emailed the developer to ask about exporting animation ti a video file and he said it would be in the next update sometime in Nov 2011! It has everything I need as a volleyball coach, and I especially like being able to save situations to load them later and show my team. The animations also work very well and give a good visual for the players to see what I want them to execute! Well done!
This is a nifty little app, especially for the price. Great for animating drills and defensive/offensive positioning during a game. I have two major problems with it. 1) app crashes just about every time i go to save a play. I have to enter it again and then it saves. 2) entered 7 drills one day and saved them, but the next day when i went in to load them, they were gone. Is this a glitch, or is it designed to only save drills for the session date and thats it? If its the latter, then dont bother buying this app. If they can fix these two issues, i will give this app 5+ stars. I bought similar software for my pc and it cost about $150.00, so im willing to give this one another shot after they come out with some updates.

This is the first app Ive found for volleyball that has animation. I was thrilled. I bought it right away. Then I used it. Definitely some rough edges but not far off from a great app for coaches. 1. Biggest flaw still: the app always crashes when you try to load a saved game. Ive written to the dev. and he was quick to respond and submit a fix. It didnt work....but at least he was quick and seems on top of it. Hopefully it gets done soon. 2. The email feature is great. I would love to somehow save the animated version to send to my athletes or to be able to post on my volleyball website. 3. I saved a single board to test the save function. After the inevitable crash, it deleted the board I created. That would be very frustrating if I had spent a great deal of time on a board. I have been looking forever for an app with animation. A few tweaks away and this is a perfect 5 star app.
